Process Integration Development Engineer | Intel Corporation
Ph.D. in Chemistry | Michigan State University
Welcome to my page!
I am Sourav Sil. Recently, I completed my Ph.D. from Department of Chemistry, Michigan State University and joined Intel Corporation as a Process Engineer at Hillsboro, Oregon.
Research Interests
In Beck laboratory, my research focus is to understand how structure of the photosynthetic light-harvesting protein controls the Excitation Energy Transfer (EET) processes. In particular, I am working on EET in intact Phycobilisomes, primary light-harvesting protein complex in Cyanobacteria and Red algae. These studies will help us to design highly efficient energy materials.

I am also investigating the 'Photoprotection Mechanisms'. The photoprotection process is a way to get rid of the extra energy to avoid photo-damage in the light-harvesting antennas.
Additionally, I am interested in ultrafast multidimensional spectroscopy techniques.
